LABEL 5 launches Original Citrus, its first flavoured whisky-based spirit drink

LABEL 5 CONTINUES ITS JOURNEY TOWARDS INNOVATION WITH THE LAUNCH OF ITS FIRST FLAVOURED WHISKY-BASED SPIRIT DRINK ‘ORIGINAL CITRUS’

LABEL 5 introduces its first flavoured spirit drink: Original Citrus, crafted from a blend of its Scotch Whisky Classic Black and natural citrus flavours of lime, lemon, orange and bergamot. 

The result is a masterful mix of 5 flavours, perfectly balanced between the Scotch Whisky and the citrus notes, bringing smoothness and freshness.“We aimed to create a unique and balanced recipe, perfect for sharing with friends, and aligned with LABEL 5 profile and values of group power and inclusivity.” said Anne Ernould, La Martiniquaise’s international senior brand manager. 

Ideal for mixing in cocktails, it is best served chilled, mixed with sparkling lemonade and garnished with a wedge of lime. The promise of a refreshing and flavourful experience.

With this new flavoured spirit drink, the brand strives to expand into the growing flavoured spirit category (+46% 2018-2023*) and meet the increasing consumer demand for new experiences. “After launching the Single Grain Bourbon Barrel, it gives the opportunity to appeal to younger consumers, not necessarily whisky drinkers, looking for new flavours and discoveries.” said Anne Ernould. “With this launch we are going further as a strong, expert and modern brand on the international stage!”
