SAINT JAMES AGRICOLE RHUM RELEASES L’ESSENTIEL, PURE EXPRESSION OF ITS CRAFTSMANSHIP

The expertise of SAINT JAMES Distillery in elaborating vintage rhums dates back to 1885 when the first ever vintage rhum was created. Strengthened by this long expertise, our Master Distiller Marc Sassier elaborated this sumptuous cuvée selecting and blending three SAINT JAMES iconic vintage rhums.
Vintage 1998: Interesting structure with typical notes of very old rhums (undergrowth and mushrooms).
Vintage 2000: Particularly fruity.
Vintage 2003: Woody notes and fern.

Patiently aged 12 years in selected small Bourbon casks, this rhum has not been modified with “ullage” (topping up casks with eau-de-vie to compensate the natural evaporation, share of the angels).

A pure expression of the SAINT JAMES Rhums identity and a tribute to an exceptional legacy, elected best Agricole Rum at the 2018 International Rum Conference in Madrid.

Tasting notes

Nose:
Roasted notes of mocha and cocoa supported by undergrowth subtle aromas.

Palate:
Fruity aromas of stone and candied fruits with distinctive notes of prune, hint of wood.

The SAINT JAMES Cuvée L’Essentiel will be available next December 2018 worldwide.
